How is this legal?
Hemp is a variety of the cannabis sativa plant, cultivated primarily for its wide-ranging industrial applications. Unlike its more well-known cousin, cannabis, hemp contains only trace amounts of THC—the compound that gets you high.
Hemp is legal in a lot of places these days, including right here in the U.S. -- According to the 2018 Farm Bill, farmers can grow and sell hemp and hemp-based products as long as they stay under 0.3% THC limit.
What is D9 THC?
Delta-9 THC, or Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, is the main psychoactive compound in cannabis responsible for the "high" effect. It binds to cannabinoid receptors in the brain, influencing mood, perception, and appetite, with effects ranging from euphoria and relaxation to anxiety at higher doses.
